As British Columbia (BC) moves out of the COVID-19 pandemic, recovery and future planning will rely on understanding the impact of the pandemic and associated mitigation strategies on health services use. Previous studies have shown dramatic reduction in emergency department (ED) visits early in the pandemic, but few examined the impact over time and stratified by visiting reasons.
