The Parasitology Public Health Laboratory was experiencing Plasmodium falciparum contamination issues with an in-house
Malaria PCR assay therefore an investigation was deployed to find the source of the contamination. This investigation provides an insight to the work process around contamination troubleshooting and may be useful to PCR-centric laboratories.
