We don’t need a better rat trap: Reconceptualising municipal rat management
Presenter/summary: Michael Joseph Lee, PhD, is an environmental epidemiologist in Environmental Health Services at the BCCDC. He has been involved in urban rat research with the Vancouver Rat Project since 2015, including studying disease ecology and the impacts of pest control interventions on the prevalence of zoonotic pathogens. In this BCCDC Grand Rounds, Michael will present a project designed to understand the state of municipal rat management with a view towards providing recommendations for cities seeking to develop or improve their own rat management strategies.
